Bottomless Brunch: Scarlett Green, Soho, London

For me Australia created & perfected brunch culture (I love a good Coffee Club visit when Down Under!), so what better place for a boozy bottomless brunch than the newest offering from antipodean chain Daisy Green.

Located just off Oxford Street in Soho, Scarlett Green has a trendy warehouse vibe with themed artwork on exposed grey plaster walls and comfy touches in their furnishings set over two floors. The ground floor features an impressive bar with an extensive Australian wine list, top craft beers and bartenders extremely willing to whip up inventive cocktails – perfect for after work drinks or dates. Whilst the lower ground area full of tables & cute booths has views of the hard-working kitchen and more unique art.

The bottomless brunch is a grown up affair. They definitely don’t scrimp on portion sizes or free flowing prosecco and orange juice, replenished frequently by staff, left on your table for you to top yourself up as needed (very trusting!). To accompany your mimosas you can select one savoury and one sweet dish from their fabulous menu options.

The savoury menu has a combination of healthier and full on options, making it very difficult to decide what to order! It also includes a great selection of vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten free choices and substitutions. I opted for the smoked salmon royale on dark rye bread topped with perfectly poached eggs, lemon hollandaise and avocado. This was easily one of the best versions of this dish that I have tried!

Friends opted for the baked aubergine fritter, which was actually half an aubergine, topped with cashew & corn salsa, wonderful poached eggs, avocado & a spicy kimchi ketchup. I could smell the spice as the dishes arrived!

The Fancy bacon roll, with crispy onions, bacon, holy f*ck hollandaise and ubiquitous brunch favourite poached eggs on a roti is also a fantastic decadent choice! I loved the use of a crunchy roti instead of standard bread as the base for this innovative brunch dish twist.

Pleasantly full from the savoury dishes, we were grateful of a bit of a break between the courses and the chance to chat over some more mimosas! However there is always room for a sweet treat and when they arrived these did not disappoint!

We opted to share our plates as we all wanted to try their delicious sounding options! Starting with buttermilk blueberry pancakes, fresh berries, mascarpone and pure maple syrup. These were utterly delicious, just the right size and all the components were beautifully well-balanced.

Next was their award winning banana bread sandwich topped with mascarpone, berries, almonds, honey & some sneaky maple syrup! Served warm this needed the cream & fruit to cut through the banana bread, but was definitely as good as it sounds & looks!

The coconut french toast with greek yogurt, raspberries, mango, maple and even more coconut was delightfully light in contrast and a great combination of the tropical flavours.

Honestly, I cannot recommend Scarlett Green for brunch enough! (I have already been twice!) Choosing to make it bottomless is fantastic value for two delicious courses alongside plentiful prosecco, to satisfy both your savoury and sweet cravings whilst enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. A brilliant choice for your next brunch date!

  1. I wish I lived in London to try this out. It’s certainly going on my list of places to go the next time I’m “down south”. The food looks delicious and it’s a great price too!

  2. I’m a first time mum and 10 weeks after having my baby I went to a bottomless brunch for my sisters birthday they are amazing but after filling my glass every time I took a sip safe to say I wasn’t standing very good after. But they are amazing I went to one in Manchester. Yours seemed really nice 🙂 cheers 🥂
